Midsummer, the Summer Solstice (June 20), Also known as Litha arrives when the powers of nature reach their highest point. The Earth is awash in the fertility of the Goddess and God.

In the past, bonfires were leapt to encourage fertility, purification, health and love. The fire once again represents the sun, feted on this time of the longest daylight hours. Midsummer is a classic time for magick of all kinds.

This is the holiday we're celebrating with our issue. Midsummer is the time we're bursting with life, and is also the time when people celebrate the longest day of the year. We're also celebrating, with this issue, the beginning of a new series. ~Rain, our newest staff member, bring us her Mystic Moon series. She has such wonderful plans with it, and I think your going to love every step of the adventure. Written, as only she can. :-)
