A Whisper In The Darkness - Antigone

Well, it's Midsummer already. Also known as Litha. It's the time when there's balance between the night and the day. The Young King who has ruled over the first have of the year now turns control over the latter part of the year to the Declining King. The turn of the seasons from the God's point of view.

It's also a time of vacations, time outside with the family exploring the world around us, or being able to take a hike and explore the world of the wilderness. Time for cook outs, time for the beach and the pool, and time to relax. And that's exactly what's happening at Cauldrons and Broomsticks this issue, you can tell from the size we're enjoying some time off. Many of your favorites aren't in this issue, but I will assure you that they will be in the next one. Everyone needs to have time to themselves, and this includes our staff.

You'll enjoy our regular holiday gifts, such as the history of the holiday by Ahneke Greystone and that fun Word Search by Isha ArrowHawk. Also, Selene Silverwind is here with her Promoting Pagan Family Values and her Michael and Beth Chronicles. Our darling Luna Willowsong continues her wonderful Maire series, Mystically is here with her Abby series as well as ~Rain with her Mystic Moon. One of my favorites, A Whisper in The Darkness by Antigone is here also. And our little ~G. Rain went crazy with some reviews for you, and Luna Willowsong makes a first for us and reviews another newsletter! :-) So you'll enjoy this issue very much.

Also, for the first time in Cauldron and Broomsticks, I'd like to introduce you to Jeri Noble. She is our latest staff member and is featured on our staff members page. Jeri has come on board as our official staff astrologer. She begins her duties with Your Litha Celebration, The Astrology of Midsummer. I want to welcome her to the staff and to the newsletter. She is a very sweet person, and a wonderful addition to our staff.

I want to take this time to officially thank Umbria and the rest of the staff at the 3rd Annual Pagan Conference for inviting me to speak. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet alot of people, and get alot of information out. What a wonderful evening that was. :-) And I hear that transcripts will be available soon too if you missed it. Any information can be found at http://talk.to/pagans. Once again, thank you for all the hard work you did to put it all together. It was alot of fun for this little Wolfpup, I assure you.
