OSTARA 2001

Blessing for the Ostara Issue
May each day of the week be a good day,
May the light of the stars shine in your eyes,
May the whisper of the winds blow soft against your face,
And the sounds of butterflies grace your home.
May the touch of morning dew be your blessing,
May the trust of a baby be your guide,
May all these things go with you on your journeys,
And grant you peace, forever.
Brightest Blessings
Stryder

Inanna, come forth from the Underworld,
goddess of the lapis measure.
Rise, like new leaves that unfurl,
bringing forth the summer treasure.
Wow, it's March and that means it's Ostara time already! Seems not that long ago we were all setting on the edge of our chairs watching at the year 2000 rolled in. Then, there was also the night we worried again, watching the year 2001 roll in. Well, mankind went on, and the great circle of life goes on. Like the Spiral Circle dance, we wind our ways into the center to find that we're winding our way right back out to repeat the cycle over and over. This part of the circle we celebrate life coming back to the world around us, and warmth coming back into our world. At the same time, our brothers and sisters in the Southern Hemisphere are celebrating the exact opposite. They're welcoming the cold, and the time when the earth begins to hibernate. One of those things that is hard to understand.
In our Ostara Issue you'll find a bit different structure. I changed things around a little, just to see if I like it, and we'll see if it stays. I took some of the articles out of the Story Time section that dealt with the holiday
Ostara, and included them in the Holiday section. That also did away with the Resource section, which helped me solve a problem that we've always had with the Story Time section. With so many wonderful stories in there it too that section forever to load. Now, it's spread across two pages, which makes either of them load at 17 second on a 56k dial up. Man, why am I going into such detail???? <LOL> Ok, back on track now. I'm all better. :)
My sister Ahneke Greystone gives us such wonderful information about the holiday in two separate articles! Man, she did a wonderful job on them too. And you'll find Lady Sarolta's Planetary Ritual wonderful too. For fun, we have Isha's Word Search. That thing is so cool. :) People really love it. Selene Silverwind's Pagan Family Values, and Michael and Beth Chronicles are wonderful this issue. Rain gives us a review on Patricia Telesco's Advanced Wicca. It's very nicely done. Mystickally does her usual wonderful job on her latest installment of Abby, and Kathryn Dyer's Meagan for this issue is great! Sprinkled through out this issue, you will see several thoughts from my brother
DreamDancer. His cup runs over this time, with such wonderful things. Very nice, all of them.
Gina Pace shares her Tarot Corner with us again this issue, and it's well worth checking out. Wyld Wytch shares with us a piece of work that she's been working on for so very long titled Teen Witch. I think it's wonderfully done, and well worth waiting for. And to revive a old tradition we used to have, we have a dedication for this issue. Thank you very much to my good friend
Stryder. What wonderful words.
Please enjoy this Ostara 2001 issue as much as we enjoyed doing it for you. From all of us here at Cauldrons and Broomsticks have a wonderful holiday everyone.
Blessings, warmth and love ....
